The AXK Series Thrust Needle Roller and Cage Assembly delivers exceptional axial load capacity in a remarkably flat, disc-shaped profile, making it the go-to solution for applications where axial space is limited but axial performance cannot be.

Flat by design, powerful by engineering: The AXK cage holds precision needle rollers in a radial pattern between two hardened washers, creating a bearing assembly that is extraordinarily thin relative to its load capacity. 

This flat form factor fits where traditional thrust ball bearings would be too tall, and outperforms them significantly under heavy axial loading conditions.

How it works: As the shaft rotates, the needle rollers in the AXK assembly roll along the hardened washer raceways with minimal friction, converting axial force into smooth rotational motion. The cage maintains precise spacing between rollers, preventing contact between adjacent needles and ensuring even load distribution — the foundation of long, reliable service life.

Used with AS washers for complete performance: For optimum performance, the AXK cage is paired with AS series hardened washers (sold separately or as a complete assembly), creating a total thrust bearing system.
