The NJ series standard cylindrical roller bearing cage is a key precision component for achieving this performance—it maintains precise roller spacing, guides each roller along its track, and ensures consistent load distribution along the contact line of each roller under all operating speeds and load conditions

NJ Configuration—Designed to meet real-world industrial needs: The NJ series represents a specific cylindrical roller bearing geometry with a fixed outer ring flange structure that provides unidirectional axial positioning.

This configuration is widely used in applications requiring the accommodation of thermal expansion of the shaft and bearing housing while maintaining axial positioning, such as motors, industrial gearboxes, pumps, compressors, and rolling mill drives.

Cage dimensions The dimensions are matched to those of NJ bearings to ensure correct roller guide geometry, appropriate roller-cage clearance, and compatibility with the standard NJ series inner and outer ring sizes of leading global bearing manufacturers.

Roller guide accuracy—critical: Cylindrical rollers are longer and heavier than balls, making precise cage guidance even more critical than in ball bearing applications.

If the roller spacing and end guidance are inaccurate, the rollers will skew—that is, the rollers rotate at an angle to the raceway instead of being parallel to it.

Skewing generates edge loads, significantly increases contact stress at the roller ends, accelerates raceway wear, and can lead to catastrophic bearing failure under heavy loads.

NJ The NJ series cages feature an optimized groove geometry design that keeps the rollers parallel throughout the entire rotation cycle, eliminating skew and ensuring clean, uniform line contact along the full length of the rollers.

Manufacturing precision ensures industrial reliability: Each NJ series cage is produced using stamping or machining processes, with dimensional tolerances conforming to ISO and DIN cylindrical roller bearing standards, ensuring direct interchangeability with OEM cage specifications.

Throughout the production process, surface finish, groove geometry, and material properties are strictly controlled to guarantee consistent performance across batches.
