Textile Machinery Double-Split Ball Cage

The Textile Machinery Double-Split Ball Cage 24×32×98 Series addresses all of challenges with a single, elegant engineering solution: a precision cage that splits into two halves for effortless installation, then performs as a unified, high-precision assembly in operation.

In many large textile spindle assemblies, the shaft configuration, housing geometry, or surrounding components make it impossible to install a solid one-piece cage axially. 

Disassembly of the entire spindle unit would be required — adding hours of labor, risk of component damage, and significant downtime cost. 

The double-split design eliminates this constraint entirely. 

Maintenance technicians install each half independently around the shaft, join them precisely at the split interface, and the assembly is complete — without touching adjacent components.

Dimensional integrity at the split line: A split cage is only as good as its split interface. 

If the two halves misalign, ball pocket geometry changes, load distribution becomes uneven, and premature wear follows rapidly. 

The 24×32×98 Double-Split design incorporates precision-machined joining features that ensure perfect half-to-half alignment every time — maintaining ball pocket roundness, cage circularity, and axial straightness to the same tolerances as a solid equivalent.

Maintenance efficiency as a design feature: Beyond initial installation, the split design dramatically simplifies scheduled maintenance. 

Bearing inspection, lubrication service, and cage replacement can all be performed in-situ — keeping large, complex textile machines running with minimal planned downtime and virtually eliminating unplanned outages caused by deferred maintenance.
