The Industrial Inner Plug 50mm is delivering a secure, precise, and durable bore-end closure that protects bearing assemblies from the inside out.

The overlooked ingress path: Most bearing protection engineering focuses on the radial sealing interface — the gap between rotating shaft and stationary housing. 

But in hollow shaft, tube roller, and idler applications, the axial bore end represents an equally significant contamination pathway. 

Water, dust, and abrasive particles entering through an open or poorly sealed bore end migrate directly into the bearing cavity, contaminating lubricant and accelerating rolling element wear. The 50mm Industrial Inner Plug seals this pathway with a precision-fit polymer closure that maintains its sealing integrity across the full service life of the assembly.

Precision fit engineering — why 50mm matters: The 50mm specification is not simply a nominal dimension — it represents a carefully controlled interference or transition fit with the bore it closes. 

Too loose, and the plug migrates under vibration, thermal cycling, or axial pressure, leaving the bore partially open. 

Too tight, and installation stress can crack the plug body or deform the bore.

The material is selected for toughness rather than rigidity — able to absorb installation loads and operational vibration without cracking or fragmenting.
