Contamination ingress and lubricant leakage are the two leading causes of premature bearing and bushing failure in industrial equipment, and both are fundamentally sealing problems.

The Sealing Ring & Idler Gasket Set is a precision-engineered sealing solution designed specifically for idler roller, conveyor, and rotating assembly applications — forming a reliable barrier that keeps lubricant where it belongs and keeps contaminants where they cannot cause damage.

Two failure modes. One integrated solution: The sealing ring addresses lubricant retention — preventing grease or oil from migrating out of the bearing cavity under centrifugal force, pressure, or thermal cycling. 

The idler gasket addresses contamination exclusion — blocking the ingress of dust, water, mineral particles, fiber debris, and chemical agents that would otherwise degrade bearing lubricant, increase friction, and accelerate rolling element wear. Together, these two components form a complete sealing system that addresses both failure vectors simultaneously.

Engineered for idler and conveyor environments: Idler rollers operate in some of the harshest sealing environments in industry. 

Quarrying and mining conveyors expose idlers to abrasive mineral dust and water.

Coal handling systems generate fine particle contamination that penetrates conventional seals rapidly. 

Aggregate and cement conveyors subject seals to alkaline dust and impact loading. 

The Sealing Ring & Idler Gasket Set is formulated from elastomer compounds and polymer materials selected for resistance to these specific contaminant types — maintaining sealing effectiveness through extended service cycles in conditions that destroy generic sealing solutions.
